At ACHTUNG we love everything about Fassbinder. The titles of his movies often serve as inspiration for our headlines. For this fashion story we used a new plot: menswear in the image of the famous German cult director. May 31 of this year would have marked his 80th birthday, so what better way to remember his iconic body of work than by celebrating his style. His movie Faustrecht der Freiheit, in which he plays the main role of Franz Biberkopf himself, provided plenty of style inspiration for this shoot held in the abandoned West Berlin Hotel Savoy for our fiftieth issue of ACHTUNG titled: Wie im Film.
