Vor ein paar Wochen hat Sofia ein neues Leben begonnen. Sofia ist seit einem Monat in Europa. Das aller erste Mal auf diesem Kontinent. Sofia Korosteleva ist 19 und aus Moskau angereist. Sie ist gekommen, um ein überragendes Debüt zu absolvieren. Ihre aller erste Modenschau. Sie lief direkt in der Königsklasse: Prada. In dieser Zeit gab es viele erste Male für Sofia: Das erste Mal weit weg von der Familie, die ersten Jobs für große Modemagazine, das erste Gothicfestival.

ACHTUNG: You had your first show in Milan this year. How was that for you?

Sofia Korosteleva: Yes, I had a Prada exclusive. I was very excited because it was my first show in my life but it was great.

A: How old are you?

SK: 19.

A: Where are you from?

SK: Moscow, Russia.

A: Is there anyone in your family who has a similar profession or also works in the fashion or creative industries?

SK: No one in my family is connected with it in any way.

A: What do your parents think about you currently working as a model?

SK: Initially, my dad was a little against modeling because it was something new for him, but now he is happy for me and supports me.

A: When was your first time in Europe?

SK: The first time I was in Europe was for this fashion week.

A: Where do you currently live?

SK: In Hamburg, Germany.

A: What did you want to be when you were a kid?

SK: I remember that I wanted to be an architect for a while because I loved to draw and graduated from art school.

A: What kind of music did you listen to as a teenager and now?

SK: In my teens – and now – I love to listen to everything, I’m a music lover and I can listen to electronics, pop, rock and much more. One of my favorites : Oqbqbo, M83, Peggy Gou, AC/DC , The Blaze , Depeche Mode.

A: Did you have posters of musicians or bands hanging on your bedroom wall in your childhood bedroom and if so, what were they? 

SK: That would have been cool, but unfortunately no.

A: Have you had any contact with the goth scene before?

SK: No, it was my first time and it was a completely new and amazing experience.

A: When was the last time you were in your home country?

SK: The last time I was in Russia was in mid-February and since then I have not come back.

A: Where would you like to live?

SK: I thought a lot about this question but have not decided yet, probably in Paris because of its extraordinary vibe and beauty.
